Just after World War 1, historical ace pilots travel over Africa on a giant aircraft carrier zepplin to the secret lair of a mad scientist, fighting off robot-piloted planes and trying to secure the glory for themselves.
This version of Fate Core introduces the option to pay refresh for access to better aircraft; doing so means having an edge when trying to hot-shot your way past the mad doctor’s autonomous aircraft, but at the cost of less flexibility as you’ll have less base fate points to spend. And, after all, it matters almost as much how well you can convince the papers of your heroism as how many kills you actually rack up . . .
